Project Introduction

Problem- Water Wastage in the school premises.

Ways of wastage-

1. Drinking directly from taps
2. Washing legs from taps
3. Improperly closed taps
4. Leaky taps

Measures to be taken to prevent wastage-

•  Direct measures-

1. Encourage use of a container for washing and drinking purposes
2. Repair leaky taps
3. Set up Sinks
4. Set up one sink per classroom to avoid "tap turmoils" in the lunch break.

• Make the students aware of the value of water- 

1. Carry out a poster campaign
2. Adorn school walls with sentences and graphics depicting the value of water.
